A bit about Mr. Gnan:
Mr. Gnan was baptized, attended, and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran in Chaska. He attended High School at Mayer Lutheran and then went on to get his Undergraduate and Graduate degrees at Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin.
Mr. Gnan's career has included teaching at Metro East Lutheran High School (Edwardsville, Illinois) and Milwaukee Lutheran High School (Milwaukee, Wisconsin). While serving at Milwaukee Lutheran, he earned his degree in Educational Administration, and served as Dean of Students, Head of Admissions, Alumni Director, and even Head of Summer Camps!
Mr. Gnan was Executive Director at Sheboygan Lutheran High School for 8 years, and then took a call as Advancement Officer at Concordia University Nebraska.
He is married to Kerri, his wife and ministry partner of 35 years, also a Lutheran School teacher, before raising three children. Their family includes Katherine (husband Tim) Preifer, Emily (husband Cam) Flaten, and Jacob Gnan.
Paul and Kerri look forward to this new exciting and challenging Call to start Central Wisconsin Lutheran High School and the opportunity to meet all of you. Mr. Gnan will begin as Principal of CWLHS in January 2026.
